Se trata de una nueva convocatoria del programa Impulso Inicial de Fundación Luksic, que en su primera versión del 2025, apoyará con maquinarias y capacitaciones a este segmento de la población que busca impulsar sus negocios para su autonomía económica, bienestar y desarrollo.
El concepto de economía plateada ha ganado relevancia en los últimos años, y no por casualidad. También conocida como silver economy, abarca el conjunto de actividades económicas y oportunidades de negocio surgidas a partir del envejecimiento de la población. Según datos de la ONU, para 2050 la población mundial de 60 años o más alcanzará los 2 mil millones de personas. En Chile, se estima que el 30% de los habitantes tendrá más de 60 años.
Este envejecimiento poblacional trae consigo múltiples desafíos para el país, lo que hace imprescindible generar oportunidades que impulsen la participación activa de este segmento en la economía. En este contexto, el emprendimiento ha emergido como una alternativa cada vez más relevante para las personas mayores.
Emprender con más de 60 años puede responder a diferentes motivos, por ejemplo por la necesidad de generar ingresos dado el complejo escenario de las pensiones, complementar un trabajo, para mayor flexibilidad, reinvención, vocación, adaptación o incluso por una cuestión de legado, dejar algo significativo para sus familias. Con eso a la vista, Fundación Luksic abrió las postulaciones de su nueva convocatoria “Potenciando la experiencia”, del programa Impulso Inicial para apoyar a emprendedores mayores de 60.
Cristián Schalper, director de Emprendimiento de la Fundación, destaca la relevancia de apoyar a este grupo: “Estamos frente a una realidad y cambio demográfico crucial para la economía. Chile está envejeciendo y desde lo público y privado debemos promover y fortalecer la participación activa de las personas mayores. Ellos cuentan con un capital invaluable y que no muchas veces toma la relevancia que merece: la experiencia. Tenemos que potenciar sus talentos, crear incentivos y apoyarlos en su desarrollo para impulsar su bienestar y con ello, se enriquezca el ecosistema emprendedor del país”.
Apoyo en maquinarias y capacitaciones
A través de Potenciando la experiencia, el programa busca apoyar hasta 400 emprendedores y emprendedoras de 60 años o más, que tengan negocios con al menos seis meses de funcionamiento previo a la postulación, con ventas demostrables de $100.000 mensuales y que cumplan con la normativa chilena vigente. Otro de los requisitos es que los emprendedores cuenten con la cartola del Registro Social de Hogares.
A la fecha, Fundación Luksic ha apoyado a más de 15.000 emprendedores de todas las regiones del país. El programa Impulso Inicial tiene como objetivo mejorar las capacidades productivas y aumentar las ventas de emprendedores tradicionales en etapas iniciales de su negocio, a través de la entrega de maquinarias y capacitaciones en gestión y administración.
Las postulaciones estarán abiertas entre el lunes 3 y el lunes 17 de marzo, a través de un formulario web online disponible en www.fundacionluksic.cl. En las redes sociales de la fundación (@fundacionluksic), se publicará contenido informativo y de utilidad para postular y aquellos que tengan dudas pueden escribir al correo oficial del programa [email protected].
